Beginning in the middle of the Thames River at the intersecting point of the Montville/Ledyard and Preston town line running northerly along the Montville/Preston town line in the middle of the Thames River to the intersecting point of the Montville/Preston and Norwich town lines; thence westerly along the Montville/Norwich town line to the Norwich-New London Turnpike (Route 32); thence southerly along the center line of the Norwich-New London Turnpike (Route 32) to Sarah Drive; thence westerly along the center line of Sarah Drive to Raymond Hill Road; thence northwesterly along the center line of Raymond Hill Road to Interstate 395; thence southerly along the center line of Interstate 395 to Oakdale Road (Route 163); thence easterly along the center line of Oakdale Road (Route 163) to the railroad bed of the former Central Vermont Railroad spur line; thence easterly along the railroad bed of the former Central Vermont Railroad spur line to the junction with the New England Central Railroad tracks; thence easterly to the Montville/Ledyard town line in the middle of the Thames River; thence northerly along the Montville/Ledyard town line in the middle of the Thames River to the point of origin.
